Should I use ANT+ or Bluetooth?
ANT+ and Bluetooth are two different ways to connect sensors and trainers. The best option depends on your phone, adapters, and the devices you use.
Recommended steps
- If your phone does not have built-in ANT+, you will need a compatible adapter to use ANT+.
- Bluetooth is usually simpler, but it can be blocked by another connected app.
- ANT+ can allow several devices to read the same signal at the same time.
- If one protocol fails, try the other if your hardware allows it.
- Avoid connecting the same sensor twice via ANT+ and Bluetooth unless you know exactly what you are doing.
